We’re now live:

Kickstarter is a relatively simple and accessible new service offering creators the ability to partake in online crowd funding. You can choose to “back” any project you want to see come to life by pledging anywhere from $5 to $5000, and all “backers” are offered project-specific incentives, which considering comics are usually: digital copies, physical copies, signed editions, posters, t-shirts, original art, getting yourself drawn into the story, and more, depending on the creativity of the project runners.

Our first Kickstarter project will be ARMAGEDDONQUEST by Ronald Russell Roach.   We’ll be raising funds to produce a professionally designed limited edition softcover which we will use to help gain reader, publisher, and producer awareness in the property (in other words, we’ll be handing out a whole lot of books).  Absolutely anyone who contributes will receive the full 20-issue 900-page saga in CBZ format.  Those who contribute slightly higher amounts will receive copies of the new book plus a slew of additional incentives TBD before the project launches.

Included in this new limited edition will be never-before-seen illustrated prose stories filling in moments between the original comic chapters, and also a short illustrated movie script starring one of the series’ main villains.

The new edition will be designed by none other than Ronnie Casson whose work can be seen on the gorgeous CAT-EYE BOY Volumes 1-2 from Viz Manga Group. Printing will be done by Malloy in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
